New DLC and Free Map Pack
Following on from the release of Sandbox sieges, easy AI and faction selection in the Invasions update, we have just released ‘The Emperor & The Hermit' DLC.
The next expansion for Stronghold Crusader 2, ‘The Emperor & The Hermit' adds two extra AI opponents, an all-new Crusader Trail campaign, 10 achievements, five player shields and new castle designs. As an added bonus, everyone who owns the base game can now access nine additional maps for free. Players with and without the DLC can play together online on a map of their choosing, regardless of whether they own the DLC or not.
The new DLC is now available on Steam for the promotional price of £2.67/$4.01/€3.34.

Spiritual successors to The Emperor and The Abbot from the original Stronghold Crusader (2002), The Emperor and The Hermit are driven by religious fervour.
